A unique, historic venue located in central Edinburgh, the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE) offers a wide range of flexible spaces for all kinds of events and functions including conferences and meetings.
Evoking the heyday of its elegant surroundings in the New Town, it’s stylish suite of Victorian and Georgian rooms are filled with stunning original architectural features, while the conference centre and meeting rooms provide all the technical and audiovisual facilities you would expect from an exceptional contemporary event.
Most of the RNase H 2012 meeting will take place in the Great Hall. Wireless internet will be available throughout the building. As a listed building, the College has restricted disabled access. Guests requiring assistance are asked to use the rear entrance where a wheelchair lift is provided.
How to get there
Situated in the historic New Town of Edinburgh, The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh is located within the central business and retail districts of Edinburgh. For guests/delegates arriving by car, the NCP car park is a short walk away in York Place. On-street metered parking is available on Queen Street and adjacent roads (expensive and short stay only). Arriving by train/bus, RCPE is just a 10 minute walk from Waverley train station and 5 minutes from the bus station. The airport is approximately 30 minutes drive by taxi or Airlink bus (due to ongoing works on a new tram line this may take a little longer).
